Euskotren to run a special rail, underground and tramway service during Bilbao’s  Aste Nagusia festivities

Euskoten will run an extended day and night rail, underground (L3) and tramway service during Bilbao’s Aste Nagusia week of festivities between 16 and 24 August.

Specifically, more overground and underground trains will be put on in both directions to cover the following sections:

• E1 Matiko/Bilbao-Deba.
• E3 Kukullaga/Etxebarri-Lezama.
• E4 Matiko/Bilbao-Bermeo.
• L3 underground line in Bilbao (Matiko/Bilbao-Kukullaga/Etxebarri).

In the case of the Bilbao tramway, a special night service will be run in addition to the usual one. However, the trams may be affected by some of the activities on the festive programme that may cause specific disruptions.

Euskotren recommends that passengers planning to travel by rail, underground or tram between 16 and 24 August check  the times in advance using the official APP or the search engine on www.euskotren.eus.
