Euskotren to run a night service during the Euskal Jaia festivities in Zarautz

Euskotren will run a special night train and bus service on Friday 9 September during the Euskal Jaia festivities in Zarautz. 

A night train service will be run on the Zumaia-Donostia/Amara section. On the night from 9 to 10 September, the trains will depart at the following times: 

•    Zumaia-Donostia/Amara: departures from Zumaia at 0:00, 0:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 hours.

•    Donostia/Amara-Zumaia: departures from Amara at 23:20, 23:50, 0:20, 0:50, 1:50, 2:50, 3:50 and 4:50 hours.

From Zarautz, the night trains will depart from Donostia/Amara t 0:08, 0:38, 1:08, 1:38, 2:38, 3:38, 4:38, 5:38, 6:08, 6:38 and 7:08 hours. In the other direction, the night trains will depart from Zarautz to Zumaia at 23:50, 0:20, 0:50, 1:20, 2:20, 3:20, 4:20 and 5:20 hours.

A night bus service will also run on the Zarautz-Getaria-Zumaia section, managed by Euskotren for the Lurraldebus provincial system. The departures from Zarautz (San Pelaio) will be at 0:30 1:30, 2:30, 4:30, 5.30, 6:30 and 7:30 hours on the night from 9 to 10 September.

The aim of the special services is to provide a convenient public transport option to enjoy the festivities. 

Euskotren recommends that train passengers check the train times in advance using the official APP or the search engine on www.euskotren.eus. Passengers are also reminded that masks must still be worn on public transport.
